About Hepatitis B Surface Antibody (HBsAb or anti-HBs):
The Hepatitis B surface antibody, or "surface antibody," is produced by the body in response to the Hepatitis B virus. It can result from vaccination or recovery from a Hepatitis B infection. A positive result indicates that the immune system has successfully generated protective antibodies against the Hepatitis B virus. This provides long-lasting immunity against future Hepatitis B infections. Importantly, individuals who test positive for the surface antibody are not infected and cannot transmit the virus to others.
This quantitative test, required by many educational and medical institutions, provides specific levels of anti-HBs, aiding in assessing immunity status.

Make sure the right name is on the label order
It was easy and convenient to order the lab test, unfortunately I didn’t check that they had printed my correct name on the order until I got to the testing center. The last name was incorrect so I had to email customer support and they quickly fixed it. I went back the next day and completed the test.

Got what I needed
I got what I needed for school so that was perfect. I might have missed the note or maybe it was specific to the location I had to go to but I did not know until I drove over 30 minutes (closest one to me) to the lab that I needed to print the orders. Also, the lab’s hours said they were 24 hour but they only did quest tests within a specific time frame (which I had arrive outside of due to my own availability) and there was a little nit picking about the signature being typed and not signed. Thankfully the ladies were super sweet and helped me anyway. Again, if this is location specific then disregard since otherwise everything was easy and in order.

Hep B test
